HORMONE IMBALANCE
Hormone imbalances occur when there is either too much or too little of a hormone in the blood stream. Hormones are chemical messengers between cells and may act in their neighbourhood or very far from each other.

The messages carried are instructions telling the recipient to perform certain tasks without question, like the General instructing junior troopers. These tasks may be carried out over a long period of time (such as growth), may be cyclical (menstruation) fight or flight response (adrenaline) and many other varieties of activities. They help regulate bodily functions such as:
- Heart rate
- Sleep cycles
- Reproductive cycles and growth
- Mood and stress levels
- Metabolism and appetite
