I AM GENERATION EQUALITY: WHY WE SHOULD BE RAISING BOYS AS FEMINISTS

 As we start a new decade, 2020 International Women’s day’s theme; I am Generation Equality challenges us to start working towards a future we want. We are generation equality and the change begins with us. With the ever-growing rates of femicides, gender discrimination in the workplace, gender gap, toxic masculinity and patriarchy still roaming the streets like it paid taxes, where do we start towards working for generation equality? The answer lies in teaching our sons and daughters to believe in equality, to ingrain in them the sense of respecting every human being on earth regardless of their sex, gender, ethnicity, age and race.
