Lineo Matlakala Ntsalong works full time as a Director and Lecturer at Agritech Institute of Lesotho, previously known as Leribe Agricultural Skills Training Center which provides agri-business management skills to youth. The modules she teaches include agricultural extension and rural development, cooperative management, communications, and life skills. She is the founder of the Barali Foundation, an organization that advocates for the rights of women and girls in the rural areas of Lesotho.
Mistress of juggle! How does she keep all the balls in the air? She says through her family, support she believes that the seed her parents planted has made her a woman she is today. Despite the fun, she admits that running the school is more difficult than she could imagine becauseone needs to have clear realistic, timeless goals and a drive to push through.
She credits the life lessons she learnt from her late mother,Malineo Matlakala and the leadership skills she acquired from her father, John Nyolosetso Matlakala. All these, along with her husband’s undisputed support have molded her into the massive success story she is today.
