To close the gender leadership gap, we need to stop talking about the glass ceiling but instead, step into the glass slipper. In this issue, we take a look at women who are actively involved in positive impacts in their communities. We are proud to be associated with them and support the wonderful work they do.
Here is a list of some of the phenomenal women of Lesotho who are creating positive changes within the country, and whose work is shaping Lesotho for better: Mothepa Ndumo – Higher Self Foundation, Lerato Mphaka – Learning Mindset, Maneo Mapharisa- Girls Coding, Lintle Letsika – Footprints of Hope, Ntšepeng Tšita Tikiso – BAM Group Foundation, Mamotake Matekane -LadyM Foundation-, Paballo Mokoqo- Regina Skills Development Programme and Maneo Seekane – Start Smart Development Foundation. These are well-known Foundations drivers in the country. And we have been proud to bear witness to their selfless efforts, they have sacrificed their time, energy and resources to uplift their communities with or without limited funds, which means they are often unable to reach a wider audience, which would enable them to access new avenues of support.
