FOOTPRINTS OF HOPE ORGANIZATION

I am Lintle Evelyn Letsika but my youths called me  mumD.  I am 42 year old Mosotho woman. I have my study background in Sociology and Public Administration, additional Community development certification, counseling and youth care.   I am a born again Christian, this is important to mention as I have learnt that it’s a pathway to learning God s purpose for a personal life and living it.

I am a Founding Director of a NGO called Footprints of Hope Organization. We registered in March 2013, though we had some 2 years not in operation, making 2020 our 5th year of operation. Our focus is psychosocial support and counseling. In the past phase we were more for capacity building of caregiver groups; equipping volunteer careers to give a compressive care of children and youth, especially those affected by HIV and AIDS in the communities of Lesotho. We are an affiliate to Channels of Hope; we apply Christian principles of a hopeful community. However, in the new phase we are directly caring for youths as individuals and groups. Promoting life skills (craft skills & entrepreneur skills), mentorship and providing basic counseling. Our junior group is 12-18, and Senior is 19-35 years.
