EATING SOIL DURING PREGNANCY

Several pregnant women in Lesotho and other African parts develop an addiction to eat soil during pregnancy. This practice is classified under the medical condition known as ‘PICA’ where pregnant woman craves non-food substances which do not have a nutritional value.
